Stadium Tour -Highbury-

Arsenalのホームスタジアム、Highburyにも行ってきました。

予約しよう Arsenalのスタジアムツアーは大人£4.00、子供£2.00（Chelsea Stamford Bridgeの約半額）、1日2回（11時、14時）、試合前日、試合当日以外の月曜〜土曜日開催。予約は2003年6月現在、電話（020 7704 4100）でしか出来ません。 試しにEメールで予約できるか送ってみました。 Arsenalのオフィシャルサイトのメニューから"The Club→Contact Directory"を選ぶと連絡先があります。 または、ここをクリック。 返事は以下の通り。 ------------------------------------------------------ Dear **** Thank you for your email. Stadium Tours take place on most weekdays at either 11am or 2pm (subject toavailability) with the exception of the day before or the day of a first team home match. The number of people allowed in any one group at one time is 25 and we do not accept large parties of children unless they are over the age of 11 and there is at least 2 adults with every 10. There is no minimum number to a booking. You will have a complete tour of the Stadium together with a visit to the Arsenal Museum which is situated in the North Bank Stand. All in all, you will be at Highbury for approximately 90 minutes. The tour involves many stairs and a large amount of walking and therefore it is not really suitable for wheelchair bound supporters. An advance booking must be made and the prices are £4 for adults, £2 for u16s & over 65s and £1 for Junior Gunners and Cannon Club members. Unfortunately, the players do not train at Highbury and therefore it would be unlikely that you would meet any of them on the day unless they were in for treatment, etc. If you would like to make a booking, please contact Iain Cook on 020 7704 4508 as far in advance as possible. The tours are very popular (especially during the school holiday period) and we cannot guarantee that your choice of day will be available. Therefore,it would be advisable for you to have a few dates in mind when booking. Regards Arsenal Football Club ------------------------------------------------------ やはり、Iain Cookさんに電話するしかないようです。メールにも書いてある通り、予約する際には第三希望日くらいまで用意しておいた方が良いでしょう。私は結局、第三希望日まで全滅で「○日の○時なら空いてるけど？」と言われたのでその日にしました。 予約の際は名前と参加人数を伝えればOKです。チケットが送られてくるわけでもないし、現地で後払いなので、住所もクレジットカード情報も必要ありません。Chelseaと比べるとずいぶん適当に感じますけどね。 2005/10/26追記 WEB予約が可能になってます。Arsenalのオフィシャルサイトのメニューから"The Club→Stadium Tours"を選び、Click here to book onlineをクリックすると予約ページへ！！

スタジアムへ行こう Highburyへの最寄り駅はArsenal（Piccadily Line）です。駅を出たら、左に進みAvenell Roadに出たら、右に進むとHighburyのEast Standに到着します。 ほら、このとおり。 スタジアムツアーの集合場所は、正面入り口（Iain Cookは"the Main Entrance on Avenell Road"と言ってました）です。 地図はこちらから。 ちなみにHighburyの住所は、 Arsenal Football Club Arsenal Stadium Avenell Road Highbury London N5 1BU

ツアーだ！ ツアー開始時刻が近付くとだんだんと正面入り口に人が集まってきます。係りの人に名前をつげてシールをもらいます。このシールこそツアー参加者の証なので、ビシッと胸に張り付けておきましょう。 定員25名なので全員が集まるまで結構かかります。スタートまではホールでHighburyの模型、写真、FAカップのトロフィーなど見ながら時間をつぶします。 このツアーも10分遅れでスタート。最初は控え室へ向かいます。 あれ？ユニフォームが架けられてない・・・ちょっとテンションダウン。控え室ではやっぱり選手の座る位置の説明がありました。控え室奥にあるシャワールームへと進みます。 さらにトロフィーが飾られている2階へと進み、スタンドからピッチを眺めます。おぉぉぉぉ、すげぇぇぇぇ。大感激です。 次はプレスルームです。「ベンゲルがこっちに座って・・・」などと説明してくれました。もちろん、写真も撮り放題なので撮りまくりました、同じようなものばっかり・・・。 そしていよいよ、ピッチへと向かいます！！ここを選手も通るんだなあと思いながら通路を歩きピッチに出ました。 いやあ、来て良かった。来て良かったよ・・・。でも、やっぱり試合が見てぇぇぇ。 ツアーは最終目的地のミュージアムへ。 ここで解散となるわけですが、その前にお金を払います。ミュージアムも見どころ盛り沢山、Arsenalの歴史に触れることが出来ます。ユニフォーム、トロフィー、ペナントが飾られ、二階建てバス（BergkampとLjungberg付き）まで置いてあります。 最後にArsenalのビデオを見て、解散となりました。見ごたえ十分のツアーでした。大満足。
